How to choose a colour corrector and use a colour wheel

It can be very daunting when looking for a colour corrector for makeup.
However ALL the makeup artists and brands follow the above colour wheel.

To colour correct and neutralise a effected area for example which is dark like the undereyes, you would use the opposite colour on the wheel.
Now depending on how dark the eye area is you would need the darker colour to correct. This is why majority of artist use samon or orange corrector. However if you have redness the same can apply by using something green and if you have a bruise which is towards the green , then use purple.
